What the eff is wrong with China??
I know I could potentially get blasted for that… but really… this is a country that only just last year was so proud of themselves for working towards legislation that would make eating cats and dogs illegal. At the same time, they will take just about anything with fur (foxes, cats, dogs, rabbits, etc.) and, after beatings, stompings, etc., skin them while they’re still alive...

Never have been a tremendous fan of winter…
Less so today, given the fact that a thick sheen of ice now covers everything due to an evening of freezing rain.
Snow is one thing; ice is another matter entirely.
I do not like having to drive in these elements.

So I’m reading this book right now called Soulpancake: Chew on Life’s Big Questions by Rainn Wilson. (Yes, THAT Rainn Wilson - the guy who plays the character of Dwight Schrute on The Office.)

I am so thrilled to finally be feeling human again. I don’t think I’ve been this sick since… jeez, December of 2005? Started with a tickly cough on Monday and started a terrible, downhill roll to yesterday, when I felt my absolute worst. I’m thinking pasta might be the fix for that.
