Well, the IRS has accepted my tax return, and I will hopefully have my refund very soon. It’s going to go a long way towards helping with things that need to be paid for… and I’m hoping to have a little, TINY bit extra to maybe put towards a spinning wheel. I love my drop spindle, but I am intrigued by and interested in learning how to spin on a wheel. I’ve seen some really cute little ones like the Ashford Kiwi for reasonable prices… but I’ve also got a post up on Ravelry to hopefully find someone willing to part with a used wheel for less than $300. Anything more than that, and I might as well spend the extra $50-$75 on a brand-new Kiwi (or a Kromski Fantasia… oooh… and I adore the Schacht Ladybug, as long as we’re dreaming, but that’s considerably more $$$) from the Woolery. <—this site mesmerizes me… they have gorgeous Avi Wasserman drop spindles there, too… *drool*
Ah, dreaming. That’s all it is.

I have to unfortunately be tight-lipped about auditions for The Rocky Horror Show, but I will say only that we got a sufficient amount of people to make choices for many of the roles. We’re having callbacks on Saturday morning. I have an open mind, but I’ve got a good idea of folks I like for particular roles. Thankfully, there are three of us on staff - Andrew, Kathy (who I know I’ll like already), and myself - and so we have a small staff with which to make decisions. It won’t be a lengthy, protracted discussion or debate. I hope not, at least. I’m expecting folks to really show us what they’re made of on Saturday morning.

Can it please be spring now?
