So, I found someone selling their Ashford Traditional spinning wheel for a reasonable price down in southern Maryland - $300, includes the wheel, lazy kate, and four bobbins - a great start for a beginner like me!  I want to get this book, too, to help me out, but what I really want to do is sit with someone else who spins and say LET ME WATCH.
